Frequently Asked Questions
Does the cover art come with typography?
No. Over the years, I’ve found that many clients don’t have their title or tagline ready at the time they license the artwork. Because of these long delays, I no longer offer typography or hold artwork for future scheduling. In some cases, clients have waited two or three years before being ready for typography — which just isn’t sustainable for my schedule.
Can I use another designer to add typography?
Of course! When you’re ready for typography, there are many talented cover artists who offer this service. They have full permission to add typography to the licensed artwork for your eBook, audiobook, full wrap, and any promotional materials related to your book. You’re also welcome to add it yourself if you prefer.
How are your designs created?
Each design may be created using my own photography, commercial licensed stock images, AI, hand-painting, or any combination of these.
How will I receive my art once I pay?
Download links appear immediately after your payment is processed. You’ll also receive an email with a link to download your files for convenience.
Can I get a refund if I decide I can’t use the art or no longer need it?
No. Due to the nature of digital artwork and licensing, I do not offer refunds once a purchase has been made. Please make sure the design you choose is the one you truly want before finalizing your purchase.
Can I sell or transfer the art to another person for their use?
No. All artwork is non-transferable and may not be resold or given to another person for their own use. Each license is issued to the original purchaser only.
Can I use the art for foreign editions of my book?
Yes, absolutely. You may use the licensed artwork for foreign editions of your book. Just make sure you’re following all Terms of Use outlined in your license agreement. A downloadable copy of the terms is included with your artwork when you make a purchase.
